Troubleshooting

Use this page to diagnose common problems. If you're stuck on a specific feature, open that feature's help article first.

General steps

  1. Refresh the page to rule out a stale view.
  2. Check required fields — they're marked, and the form highlights what's missing on save.
  3. Confirm your role has permission for the action.
  4. Note the exact error text before retrying.

Saving problems

If a record won't save:

  • Make sure every required field is filled in.
  • If you've been idle a long time, your session may have expired — sign out and back in, then re-enter your changes.
  • Check that linked items (owner, site, related records) still exist.

Approvals and workflow steps

If you can't complete a review or approval:

  • Confirm the step is assigned to your role.
  • Make sure any earlier steps are complete.
  • Check whether the record is waiting on required evidence or fields.
tip

When contacting support, include what you were doing, the record's ID, and the exact error message. That speeds up resolution.
